Carole Eyssautier-Bavay

Carole Eyssautier-Bavay holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and has a dual expertise in computer science and humanities. She has contributed to numerous scientific publications and has made significant advancements in the use of AI to improve quality of life.

In 2015, Carole co-founded Capsix with François Eyssautier and Stéphane Rollet. Together, they developed iYU, the first AI-driven robotic assistant for physical and mental recovery. iYU, the result of nine years of research and development, offers personalized massage sessions to alleviate stress and back pain.

As Co-founder & Chief Research and Marketing Officer at Capsix, Carole leads the scientific research, marketing and sales supervision. Her vision is to integrate scientifically validated wellness solutions into daily life, thereby improving the overall quality of life for a wide audience.

During her doctoral studies at the LIG - Joseph Fourier University Grenoble - and LIRIS - Claude Bernard University Lyon I - Carole worked in the field of education, focusing on distance learning. Her research aimed to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of education through innovative technologies.
